Both PhD programmes have the same entrance requirements: a Master’s degree in a discipline appropriate to the proposed topic of research, plus proof of competence in English language. Computer skills are also required. In exceptional circumstances, a bachelor’s degree may be accepted for admission.
Applications to the PhD in Maritime Administration are assessed by an Admissions Board at WMU. Applications to the joint PhD in Maritime Law or International Commercial Law are assessed at both WMU and at UWS.
