A selection of papers and presentations from two maritime security symposia held at WMU: the International Symposium on the New Regime for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts at Sea, from 21-23 November 2005 and the International Symposium on Coastal Zone Piracy from 13-15 November 2006. Part 1 of the book focuses on a wide range of unlawful acts at sea in the context of the recently revised SUA Convention. Part 2 examines attacks against shipping in the near-coastal areas and introduces the concept of coastal zone piracy. Price: US$ 45, inclusive of post and packing
