International Day 2019

The annual WMU International Day celebration for 2019 was held on 17 August at the Henrik Smith Residence for students. The theme for this year’s event was “Unlocking Sustainable Development Through Culture and Harmony.” Nearly 300 people attended including students, staff, host families, friends and families of the students.

Ocean Literacy 2018 Conference

President Doumbia-Henry was a keynote speaker at the Ocean Literacy Conference that took place in Malmö, Sweden from 6 to 7 December. The conference brought together nearly 100 participants to inspire and debate marine education and ocean literacy from a local perspective, focusing in particular on coastal cities.
