Alex joined Braemar ACM Shipbroking in February 2019, where he is part of the Singapore Handy and Supramax team covering the Pacific and Indian Ocean basins, with particular focus in the South Pacific and emerging South East Asia Markets. Alex holds an MEng in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in International Shipping and Finance from the Henley Business School of the University of Reading.
Previous Experience.
Prior to joining competitive shipbroking, Alex worked as a Chartering Manager for Eastern Pacific Shipping in Singapore, a role he assumed after starting his career in the London office of the group where he was serving in the Technical and Operations departments. During his studies he developed a strong interest in the areas of Maritime/Transport Economics and Shipping Finance and his Thesis in the NTUA examined the Economics of Greek Coastal Shipping – Implementation of Transport Equivalent- regulatory framework etc.
