Adjunct Professor in the post-doctoral school at the Univ. of Genoa ( managed by DITEN - Dep. of Naval, Electric, Electronical and Telecom Engineering); already Adjunct Professor of Outer Space Policy and Law and International Economical Law at the University of Genoa, he graduated with honors at the University of Genoa and completed his post-doctoral studies in outer space policy and law (International Space Univ- MIT).
Actually member of the NATO Civil Experts Transport Group - Ocean Shipping.
Member and visiting professor at the European Center for Space Law – ESA (in different areas, mostly related to human activities and remote sensing political-legal issues) and at the Italian Navy Academy (international and maritime/outer space law areas); past contract professor in the Italian Navy Academy (course of international maritime, EU and outer space law); visiting scholar at the International Bar Association – Business Law Section (outer space law and international labour law areas);
Visiting lecturer in various universities and in ISU above mentioned. Member of scientific committee of various international conferences, including WMU – Univ. of Genoa – Italian Transport Ministry Int. Conf. on MLC 2006
Acknowledged as a legal scholar in the fields of outer space law, aviation law, international criminal law, international labour and social security law, insurance law.
