WEBINAR - Integration of Future Technologies in MENA Maritime Transport

As the maritime sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region stands at the crossroads of transformation, the integration of emerging technologies will reshape its future across shipping, ports, shipyards, and maritime education and training. In this context, the World Maritime University (WMU) is pleased to host a webinar that will explore the challenges and opportunities of this technological transition. The webinar will address the latest trends in digitalization, automation, and green innovations, while exploring the regulatory and policy implications that accompany this accelerated change. It will also highlight the critical role of women in driving technological innovation and making the industry more inclusive and robust. Finally, the webinar will highlight the importance of global cooperation, technology transfer and building capacity to ensure that the MENA maritime transport industry is positioned to thrive in an era in which integration of cross-cutting technology is essential.
