World Oceans Day - Malmö Coastline Clean-up

In recognition of World Oceans Day, the World Maritime University is partnering with the the City of Malmö and the SEA-U Marine Science Center on cleaning up Malmö's coastline, followed by free activities on the beach.

Cleaning up the Malmö Coastline

From 10-12am on 9 June, at nine different locations, your help is requested to pick up as much trash as possible to prevent it from ending up in the ocean. The goal is to collect trash both in and out of the water, and then carry it back to the Sea-U Marine Science center where the collective effort will be visible with all trash placed in a large glass container. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided at each of the collection areas.
