Graduation of ITL 2012

On 21 July 2012, the Graduation Ceremony of WMU's MSc Programme in International Transport and Logistics - Class 2012 was held in Shanghai. A total of 30 graduates attended the ceremony together with their families and friends. This is the seventh graduation of the MSc programme which is delivered by WMU in collaboration with Shanghai Maritime University since 2005. From WMU, President Bjorn Kjerfve, Vice President International Shuo Ma, and from SMU, the Chairman of the SMU Council, Professor Yu Shicheng, Vice President Jin Yongxing, the Dean of Transportation College, Prof. Shi, the Director of the International Cooperation Department of SMU, Ms Yu, the Vice Dean of the SMU Graudate School Ms Mao and some SMU faculty members who have been associated with the ITL programme also participated in the Ceremony. President Kjerfve conferred WMU's MSc degree, PGC on the graduates.

Mr. Senthil Kumar Ramar received "Chancellor's Medal for Academic Excellence" award. Mr. Dimas Rizky Kusmayadi and Ms Supasiri Songsiridej received "Best Research Paper" awards. Among the 30 graduates, 25 received WMU MSc Degree certificates, 1 received WMU Post-Graudate Certificate, 1 student on "pending" status and 3 students on "deferral status".

Some ITL2013 class students sang the "WMU Song" to mark the end of the Ceremony.
