IMO Expert Lectures on Identifying Training Needs

On 2 March, Atty. Jean Ver Pia, Head of the Asia and Pacific Section, Sub‑division for Maritime Development of the Technical Cooperation and Implementation Division for the International Maritime Organization (IMO), delivered a lecture on the topic of “Curriculum development and design: role of stakeholders and technical cooperation in identifying training needs” to students in the Maritime Education and Training specialization.

Atty. Pia’s lecture focused on how stakeholders and international technical cooperation shape maritime education and training by identifying training needs and strengthening capacity in the maritime sector.
