Ms. Dragana Rudic joined the World Maritime University in August 2018 and currently holds the role of Assistant to the Vice-President (Provost). Dragana serves as a key point of contact, facilitating communication between the Vice-President (Provost), academic departments, and other stakeholders. Dragana is engaged in stakeholder management, project coordination, and organisation of large-scale events. She manages and administers projects concerning academic and administrative matters at WMU. Dragana coordinates with the relevant internal services and departments to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and rules. 

Serving as a focal point at WMU, Dragana also supports the IMOGENder Network project, "Women on Board," and efforts to empower women in the maritime industry through a mentorship programme. 

Previously, Dragana held the role of Faculty Assistant, providing support to the Academic Dean and coordinating engagement with Visiting Professors and Lecturers from around the world. 

Dragana holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management and Public Relations from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business. Dragana earned a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing by completing a 24-week course delivered by the Digital Marketing Institute in Dublin, Ireland.

Before joining the WMU, she worked as Head of the Administrative Department in a mid-sized international company in Belgrade. She coordinated multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously. Dragana's primary commitment was to build a culture of compliance, monitoring, and auditing, ensuring operational efficiency and establishing effective communication channels with stakeholders. She organized numerous workshops and seminars.
