WMU is a Partner to this Project. The lead partner of this project is Istambul Technical University (ITU).

The purpose of this project is to create a mechanism and to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) which is to choose right mean of energy efficiency through monitoring energy consumption on a real-time basis and to optimise it through the developed DSS that can improve the energy efficiency of ship operations within SEEMP. Thus, the shipping industry will obtain medium to long-term gains in terms of monetary and environmental benefits as well as strengthen the awareness of the situation onboard personnel.
